Join us for our inaugural fall native plant market, featuring local growers from our native nursery network, including 1 Acre of Trees, Blue Stem Natives, Lady Fern Farm, Oakhaven Sanctuary, Red Trillium Gardens, Tree Talk Natives, and more. These small businesses specialize in sustainably grown native plants, grow much of their stock from seed (often local ecotype), and frequently carry native species that are not yet widely available.
Why October? Because fall is the best time of year for root growth, allowing plants to establish quickly without enduring summer heat stress. Learn more about fall planting.
The market will also have outreach and resource tables where you can learn from plant experts, plus goodies sold by Pure Pastry.
