Understanding Microclimates and Soils in the Garden

This in-person workshop will explore a landscape replete with native plants across a variety of microclimates on site- from dry, sunny areas to more sheltered, moisture-rich spaces.  We'll talk deep roots, seasonal timing, and how to strategize in your own landscape. 

Soil is a key factor when considering what to plant.  We'll dig into it (literally, look at soil samples, and talk about how working with your existing soil, not against it, can make your landscape more resilient, lower maintenance, and more successful over time.
