Full Event Description
Moths are a diverse group of insects of enormous ecological importance. Vastly outnumbering butterflies, many moths are pollinators, and their caterpillars are an extremely important food source for wildlife. Insect ecologist Mariana Abarca will offer a 60 min presentation, followed by a 30 min walk outside as we search for nocturnal moths!
