At 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13, Dr. Robert Gegear of UMass Dartmouth will join us to discuss native bees and the plants critical to their survival.
Dr. Gegear has spent more than 25 years studying the ecology and conservation of native pollination systems in eastern North America, and he has created a comprehensive plant list of natives that are most critical for at-risk bee species.
Dr. Gegear will discuss his work, the importance of creating habitat for these bees and other at-risk species, and answer your questions.
